Frédéric Abergel
Mr. Abergel graduated with a master's and a doctorate in health administration and has developed solid managerial experience within the health and social services network for more than 20 years. He has worked in hospitals, regional agencies and privately, always in the health sector. He has been President and Director General of the CIUSSS du Nord-de-l'Île-de-Montréal since June 2018.
Mariem Abid
Mariem Abid completed her postdoctoral training in the Imaging and Orthopedics Research Laboratory (LIO), at the Research Center of the Université de Montréal Hospital Center (CRCHUM) and at the LICEF Research Center of the Université́ TÉLUQ in 2021 and her doctorate in signal and image processing at INSA Rennes in France in 2016.
She is also a tutor for the machine learning course in the Science and Technology department at Université́ TÉLUQ.
Alain Bakayoko
Alain holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business and E-Commerce and a Certificate in Business Management from HEC Montréal. He is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in International Public Policy at the Université de Sherbrooke. Alain has over ten years of experience working on various aspects of business analysis and economic development.
François Bergeron
François Bergeron is a science graduate from Université de Sherbrooke (PhD, 2006) and HEC Montréal (MBA, 2010). He began his career as a researcher in the development and validation of a new industrial laser technology for the treatment of cancer. Maxime Bolduc
Maxime Bolduc is the CEO of Azimut Médical, a Montreal company specialized in the development of intelligent protective inflatable clothing adapted to the prevention of hip fractures for the elderly. Having completed a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in 2021, he continues his studies in innovation management at the École de technologie supérieure. At Azimut Médical, his mission is to increase the quality of life of seniors and encourage their autonomy.
Diane Côté
Diane Côté is the CEO of MEDTEQ+, an industry-led consortium accelerating the development of innovative healthcare solutions through collaborative projects and through investments in leading Canadian SMEs. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Digital Health and Discovery Platform/DHDP, led by Imagia and the Terry Fox Research Institute. She is also a member of the Advisory Council on Deep Space Healthcare of the Canadian Space Agency.
Azadeh Dastmalchi
Azadeh Dastmalchi is the CEO of VitalTracer, a medical startup that designs smart wearable medical devices. She is a Ph.D. candidate at Ottawa University, obtaining her MSc from the same university in Biomedical Engineering. In the last twelve years, her main field of research has been designing and developing medical devices, particularly vital signs monitoring ones and applied AI on bio-signals.
Pierre-Alexandre Fournier
Pierre-Alexandre Fournier is co-founder and CEO of Hexoskin, a wearable health technology company based in Montreal that focuses on smart clothing design and intelligent algorithms for health management. Hexoskin was founded in 2006, and launched the first iPhone compatible smart clothing for health monitoring in 2013.
Yosra Gmar
Yosra is the co-founder and CEO of AIHeart, a start-up devoted to leveraging smart technologies to improve heart healthcare.
With a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and an ongoing master's degree in biomedical engineering, Yosra has discovered a passion for health technology.
Carine Huillier
The role of Carine Huillier is to promote the development and integration of innovative medical technologies by creating collaborations between the industrial fabric and clinical and academic partners in Canada and internationally. After studying chemistry and receiving a master's degree in business administration, Carine has always worked in the healthcare or technology sectors, whether for SMEs, research centers, or government organizations.
Dr. Philippe Jouvet
Dr. Jouvet is a pediatric intensivist for 30 years and is a full professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Sainte-Justine UHC with a secondary affiliation to the Montreal School of Public Health. He is currently Director of the Quebec Respiratory Health Research Network and Assistant Director of Cyber Infrastructure and Software Development at the Sainte-Justine Research Center.

Amal Khabou
Dr. Amal Khabou obtained her engineering degree in computer science (parallelism and high performance computing specialization) in 2009 from the ENSEIRB engineering school in Bordeaux, France alongside a research master's degree in computer science from Université Bordeaux I, France, and her doctorate in computer science in 2013 with distinction, from the Université Paris Sud, Saclay, France.
Paul L’Archevêque
Mr. Paul L'Archevêque was appointed the first ever Director of Innovation at Quebec’s Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS) in April 2018, in line with the Quebec government’s Strategy for Life Sciences 2017-2027. Mr. L’Archevêque is a Master in neurophysiology from the Université de Montréal and has been a key figure in many high profile developments in Canadian life sciences.

Graduated in engineering, Mr. Larochelle has worked since the beginning of his career in the health industry and in the information technology sector within companies such as Bell, Emergis, Telus, IMS Health (IQVIA) , Purkinje and now Orange.

Neila Mezghani
Neila Mezghani’s interest is in the analysis and classifica on of biomedical engineering data and the development of tools based on artificial intelligence methods for the development of decision support systems.
She is an associate professor at the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) and the National Institute for Scientific Research (INRS-EMT).
Pradipika Natamai Vasudevan
Pradipika is a Junior Materials Engineer at True Angle Medical Technologies, headquartered in Edmonton. She recently graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters in Materials engineering. She received her Bachelor’s in Biomedical engineering from the National Institute of Technology, India. Her research interests include e-textiles, 3D printing and rehabilitation medicine.
Cécile Petitgand
Cécile Petitgand is the coordinator of the Data Access Task force set by the National Table of Research Directors of the Quebec Ministry of Health and Social Services (Canada).
She is a research associate at the University of Montreal Hospital Research Center, as well as Data Access advisor at the Quebec Research Fund for Healthcare and Associate Professor at the University of Montreal School of Public Health.

Marc is a talented and passionate business leader with 20 years’ experience in Medical Device, Digital Health and Consumer Wearable markets. His expertise is in all aspects of medical device and wearable product development from conception R&D to launch, clinical validation, and commercialization for international markets, including regulatory compliance and strategic business development.
Daniel Sinnett
Daniel Sinnett obtained his PhD in 1991 (Biochemistry, Université de Montréal), following which he underwent postdoctoral training in Molecular Genetics at the Children’s Hospital Boston, Harvard University Medical School. In 1994, Dr. Sinnett returned to Montreal where he established unique pediatric cancer precision Medicine initiatives at the National level.

Ludovic Soucisse is the director of communications and public affairs at Mila, the Quebec research institute in artificial intelligence. As a public and government relations specialist, he contributed to the success of the QuébecInnove organization between 2018 and 2021 by holding similar positions. He has been working since 2015 in the ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship in Quebec and previously served as a political advisor and press officer at the National Assembly of Quebec.

Co-founder and technical director of Ora Médical, Louis St-Pierre obtained his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in 2020, specializing in technological innovation. As a person motivated by projects with a strong social impact, he wants to create a work environment in which each person can flourish.
